Three days after Chick-fil-A president and chief operating officer Dan Cathy vowed to “stay the course” on his company’s position of supporting the traditional family – a statement that, for some, clarified the company’s anti- same-sex marriage stance – Chick-fil-A sent a slightly different message Thursday to its fans on Facebook:
“The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender.”
